The Women of the Range is a free self-defense and shooting club for women to learn and practice the safe and proper use of firearms as well as learn and discuss other aspects of personal protection and safety. The club typically meets on Saturday once every month but is subject to availability, so check here for our next scheduled meeting. We have fellowship, a personal protection lesson and discussion, a question-and-answer time, followed by firearms instruction and practice. We have two available options for training:
1. Live fire instruction and practice at our Outdoor Range. Targets will be provided as well as free rentals of hearing and eye protection. Rental Firearms are available but you must provide your own factory ammunition.
2. Instruction and practice on our Smokeless Range by Laser Ammo, an interactive shooting simulator that uses a projector screen and laser emitting firearms. The Smokeless Range is a fun, safe, and stress-free introduction to firearms as well as a valuable training tool. It offers target practice, competitive and skill building drills, custom target and tactical courses, and an interactive video simulator. More information on the Simulator Page.
The club and training are completely free. I do accept donations to help keep the place running, but do not feel obligated to give. We would love to have you join us. All are welcome.
Women of the Range:
My Saturdays in December are filling up with family and church events. Currently the only Saturday I have available is the morning of December 6th 10:00am - 1:00pm. I was going to do a joint Fellowship & Women's Shooting club.
We would all meet at the house, then head out to the shooting range. Once there, split up into two separate men's and women's groups for fellowship. Afterwards come together on the shooting range for practice and instruction. (and maybe some friendly competition)
Targets will be provided as well as free rentals of hearing and eye protection. Firearms are available to rent for an additional fee, but you must provide your own factory ammunition. All are welcome. Please contact me if you have any questions.
